Brian Blessing
An award winning sportscaster, Brian Blessing is host of 'Sportsbook Radio', which can be heard daily on Foxsportsradio 920 AM and live and archived at Donbest.com. He currently is a television analyst and Director of Media Relations for Don Best Sports. Blessing also serves as hosts of 'The Linemakers' on Sportingnews.com After many years of play by work, Blessing is now the play by play voice of 'Thursday Night Lights' on MYLVTV and has announced for Top Rank Boxing on their world feed.
As Project Manager of Las Vegas Sports Consultants, the top oddsmaking firm in the world, he developed a broadcast wing of the operation. Working for seven years with the brightest minds in the sports wagering industry, Blessing has been able to form a unique combination with his wealth of sports knowledge and relationships built in Las Vegas.
He is also featured on ESPN 1100, Fox Sportsradio 920 AM, KSHP 1400 in Las Vegas, Inside The Lines, a nationally syndicated radio show throughout Canada, The Score, and does featured guest segments on KVBC-TV and CW Sportszone.
Blessing came to Las Vegas after a 25- year stint in Buffalo, New York. Serving as a television and radio anchor, reporter, and host, Blessing covered Western New York's professional teams, the NFL's Buffalo Bills and the NHL's Buffalo Sabres. Stationed at WIVB-TV for fourteen years, he was the beat reporter covering the Buffalo Bills, which included their remarkable, four consecutive trips to the Super Bowl. In addition, during his tenure at WIVB, Blessing earned Associated Press honors and a New York Board of Broadcasters Sportscast of the Year Award.
He was also co-host of the popular, highly rated Hockey Hotline. In addition, Blessing won the 1997 Eclipse Award, thoroughbred racing's highest honor, producing, writing, and narrating a television documentary.
