If you can’t run with the big dogs, then get off the damn porch. Sports fans it’s no secret that underdogs cover more than favorites. The problem is that the general public, which in case you were keeping score, is you guys, loses most of the time. No blame, no pointing fingers, no BS., just the facts.

This Saturday, I am going to throw out a slew of underdogs that have what it takes to not just cover the spread but win outright.

Below are a few teams that offer value as an underdog and are good enough to get you paid straight up. Maybe a few catches your eye and you can play them on an ML parlay.

Minnesota +3.5

Iowa vs. Minnesota +3.5 Golden Gophers are 7-3 ATS L10 as an underdog, 28-12-2 ATS L42 games in November, 9-4 ATS in their last 13 conference games, and 9-4 ATS L13 games overall.

Boston College +13.5

Notre Dame at Boston College +13.5: Perfect time for BC to catch the Irish in a let-down mode after dethroning the No. 1 team in the nation.

Wake Forest +13.5

Wake Forest +13.5 at North Carolina: The feisty Demon Deacons are consistent and will upend the erratic Tar Heels here. Maybe worth a few bucks on the money line.

Michigan +4.5

Wisconsin at Michigan +4.5: Coming off back-to-back losses, head coach Jim Harbaugh will have his team chomping at the bit here.

SMU +2.5

SMU +2.5 at Tulsa: Tulsa is no slouch, But they just don’t have the firepower to keep pace offensively here. Look for the Golden Hurricanes mistake-prone quarterback, Zach Smith to continue his INT streak (at least one INT in every game thus far).
