Parlays and teasers are known as "four-letter words" to serious sports bettors. But, for a small investment, you can make a killing if you catch one or two here or there. And that's why so many like them. They give you an enormous bang for your buck.
As of mid-week, here is a nice four-teamer for all you teaser bettors out there.
Kansas State is currently a 3.5-point underdog as they visit West Virginia. Sometimes you must be cautious in a look-ahead situation. K State has a showdown with the only other unbeaten Big 12 rep, Oklahoma State next game. This is a team riding a four-game win and cover streak. As a matter of fact, three of those wins came against teams that were superior on paper.
Quarterback Will Howard has led the team to three straight wins in place of injured starter, Skylar Thompson. West Virginia, which was supposed to be known for their defense, is looking very beatable. The Wildcats are 5-0 ATS L5 on the road. On a teaser, the line would go up to +9.5 here.

Notre Dame is laying -20 at Georgia Tech here. If Notre Dame is going to make a serious run at the CFP, they must turn up the heat here and run up the score. After two no covers, the Irish crushed the Panthers last week, 45-3. On both sides of the ball, they outclass the Yellow Jackets. Look for them to come out of the gait fast as G Tech has gotten decimated early in games, with a collective first half deficit of 168-62.
They face a hungry Notre Dame defense that is allowing a mere, 9.8 PPG. The Fighting Irish stop-unit will get to the YJ's mistake-prone quarterback, Jeff Sims, and force turnovers. The Irish are 4-0 ATS L4 on the road. The Yellow Jackets are 2-8 ATS L10 at home. On a teaser, Notre Dame would be -14.

Northwestern is currently +2.5 at Iowa. Northwestern is brimming with confidence after their 43-3 dismantling of Maryland last Saturday. It was the most points they have ever put up on a Power Five foe. They have a smart quarterback and a backfield of capable ball-carriers.
While I don't think Iowa is a pushover, off the field distractions and a new quarterback at the helm after the three-year starter, Nate Stanley has departed is going to make it tough for this team to focus and score points. The Wildcats are 3-1 ATS L4 meetings in this series and 22-8 ATS L30 on the road. On a teaser, NW would be +8.5.

Missouri at Florida and the Gators are currently -15. The Gators are eager to get back on the field after two weeks of forced Covid-19 postponements. That would be enough for me. Florida used those two weeks to stew over their 41-38 loss at Texas A&M and prepare. Missouri beat a Kentucky team that continues to struggle offensively.
Many bettors will side with the Tigers because of that victory. But trust me when I tell you, this contest will get ugly. Missouri is 3-8 ATS L11 in conference play and 7-20 ATS L27 on the road. Florida would be -9 on a teaser.
