The Jets host the Ravens in the first of two Monday Night Football games.
Sunday Night Football kicks off in Cowboys Stadium, the same place where the Super Bowl will be held in February. The Dallas Cowboys want to make it a home game but they face a tough road getting there.
The Redskins present the first obstacle in Dallas’ quest for a sixth championship. This Washington team is vastly improved from 2009’s 4-12 edition that finished last in the NFC East. Mike Shanahan has taken over as head coach while former Eagles starter Donovan McNabb replaces Jason Campbell as Washington quarterback. These are significant upgrades but it won’t be enough to catch up with the Cowboys’ talent-laden offense.
Tony Romo leads a star studded line-up that features Jason Witten, Miles Austin, Marion Barber, and new kid on the block Dez Bryant. Dallas can beat you on the ground or in the air. On Sunday I like them to do both. Bet on the Dallas Cowboys to win as 3½-point favorites and win big with Sports Interaction.
ESPN’s Monday Night Football doubleheader begins in New Meadowlands Stadium. The Jets welcome Baltimore in what could be a rehearsal for the AFC Championship game. Jets coach Rex Ryan, who built the Ravens’ vaunted defense, has spent most of the summer using HBO’s Hard Knocks to tell the world how wonderful the Jets are. Well, the talking won’t end on Monday but at least we’ll get a chance to see if these Jets are for real.
In addition to its loaded defense, Baltimore arrives in New York with big-time talents like Joe Flacco, Ray Rice, Anquan Boldin and TJ Houshmandzadeh. For all the big names on the Ravens Roster, I like the Jets to win this game. Bet on the New York Jets as a 2-point favorite and win big with Sports Interaction.
The second half of the Monday Night Football doubleheader sees Kansas City host the Chargers. This is not the same San Diego team that lost to the Jets in the divisional round of the playoffs last season, but the Bolts remain the best of the AFC West.
Kansas City is still rebuilding but should take a step forward in 2010. Unfortunately this franchise won’t go far enough to take out the Chargers. Bet on the San Diego Chargers as -5.5 favorites and win big with Sports Interaction.
Finally it may only be the start of the season but we already have the biggest game of them all on our minds here at Sports Interaction. You could win big with our Super Bowl Pinata. Simply place your pinata pick bet and see what selection you get. If that team wins Sports Interaction pays out at odds of plus 2800.
