Ohio Bobcats: Coach Frank Solich and the 'Cats (8-2 straight-up, 4-6 against the spread) saw their MAC Championship hopes dashed last Wednesday in a 26-14 loss at home to Bowling Green, a team getting 2½ from the oddsmakers. It was the second outright loss in three games for Ohio after beginning the season 7-0, and the fifth point-spread defeat in six games. Ohio has won and covered as underdogs its last two trips to Scheumann Stadium but is just 1-3 ATS on the road this season.

Ball State Cardinals: Coming off a 34-27 upset at Toledo as 5½-point underdogs last Tuesday, the Cards (7-3 SU, 8-2 ATS) return home aiming for their fifth straight win and cover. Four of Ball State's last five games have stayed below the total after the squad began the season with five straight finals that went past the scoreboard number. The Cardinals won last year's meeting in Athens where Ohio was a big two-touchdown favorite, and the last two matchups have failed to reach the total.

Toledo Rockets: Despite the setback to Ball State a week ago, the Rockets (8-2 SU, 6-4 ATS) can still make it to the MAC title tilt by winning out, a feat that would also give the team its first 10-win season since 2000. Toledo's David Fluellen had his second straight 200-yard showing on the ground in the loss to Ball State and is tied for second in the nation with 1,381 yards rushing for the season. The Rockets will try and stop a two-game skid vs. the Huskies, both of which went ended above the total.

Northern Illinois Huskies: A win Wednesday would give NIU (9-1 SU, 8-1-1 ATS) the MAC's West Division title as well as its 10th consecutive victory after beginning the season with an 18-17 defeat to Iowa. The Huskies also have a powerful running game led by Jordan Lynch, the nation's top rushing QB with 1,342 yards (sixth most overall in the country). Last season's meeting saw Northern Illinois top the Rockets 63-60 in a game that saw the two teams combine for over 1,100 yards of offense and 17 touchdowns.
