Pick #1: Ohio State +2½ (click to check updated college football odds)
Kelly's Analysis: Wisconsin will be starting its THIRD quarterback of the season this Saturday vs. the undefeated BUCKEYES. I guess it really doesn’t matter who plays QB when all you do is turn around and hand the ball off 50-plus times a game! Oh yea...sorry...the dude’s name is Curt Phillips...who played his first full game of football last week vs. Indiana...since his senior year of high school back in 2007! Yes, back in 2007 when Shakira was busy shakin’ that ass and George W. Bush was still the frickin President! Wow, that’s a long time ago. Bottom line, the Buckeyes D has played better in recent weeks and their QB Braxton Miller can flat-out play! Because they have won and covered the spread in four of the last five meetings, I’m taking the “INELIGIBLE BUCKYES” to knock off the Badgers in Camp Randall Stadium.
Pick #2: Northwestern +6½
Kelly's Analysis: Yes, I know...I should've learned my lesson last week, but these guys owe it to us to go into East Lansing and come out with a W. And hey, let's be honest...at least the Wildcats covered at Michigan. Speaking of covering, Michigan State has been brutal against the spread this year. The Spartans are 0-6 ATS in home games. Hell, I even bet them in basketball last Friday, and they couldn't cover!
Pick #3: Syracuse +4½
Kelly's Analysis: The Orange is coming off a huge beatdown of Louisville. They're well on their way back to the Pinstripe Bowl, where they needed a salute from a certain team to earn their last postseason win. To pull this one off in Columbia, the 'Cuse needs QB Ryan Nassib to have a big passing game on Saturday. Mizzou's secondary is awful at best, I mean, who seriously gives up 432 passing yards to Tennessee?!? If this game doesn't go into quadruple OT like the Tigers did last week, I also expect it to be below the 54½-point total.
