NC State Wolfpack: Blown out by Oklahoma State in the Puerto Rico Tipoff title game a little more than a week ago, the 'Pack (4-1 straight-up, 3-1 against the spread) had to rally to get past UNC-Asheville in an unlined affair last Friday, 82-80. Poor shooting cost NC State in the loss to the Cowboys while turnovers just about did the Wolfpack in vs. UNC-Asheville. North Carolina State is 5-7 overall in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge, 1-5 away from Raleigh, and has dropped its last four in the series.

Michigan Wolverines: Coach John Beilein's club (5-0 SU, 4-0 ATS) is coming off a solid performance to take the NIT Season Tip-Off title with a 71-57 win over Kansas State as 5-point favorites. Bettors will want to monitor the status of Tim Hardaway Jr. who was cracked on the head in the win vs. the Wildcats (click to check updated college basketball injury report). The junior leads the Wolverines in scoring (18.2 ppg) and reportedly passed concussion tests after the game. Michigan is 4-7 all-time in this series (2-3 in Ann Arbor). The Big Ten won eight of the 12 matchups with the ACC last season.

North Carolina Tar Heels: Home from their trip to the Maui Invitational where they finished third, the Tar Heels (5-1 SU, 3-1 ATS) look for a repeat of their last visit to Bloomington, which resulted in a 70-63 win in 2004. North Carolina was manhandled by Butler out in Hawaii, an 82-71 loss as an 8½-point favorite with the final score not really indicative of the Bulldogs' domination in the game. The Heels are 6-3 in this series, with all three of the losses coming on the road.

Indiana Hoosiers: Coach Tom Crean's Hoosiers (6-0 SU, 5-1 ATS) ran their record to 6-0 with an easy 101-53 romp past Ball State on Sunday. Indiana shot better than 60 percent from the field in the contest to easily cover the 27½-point spread, and is tied for eighth in the country with a 52.5 field-goal percentage mark on the season. The Hoosiers are 4-7 in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge and just 1-3 at Assembly Hall, with the only win coming vs. Georgia Tech in 2007 (83-79 as 9-point favorites).
