Arkansas Razorbacks: The Hogs (4-3 straight-up, 1-3 against the spread) ended a three-game slide with an 81-78 victory at home Tuesday over Oklahoma as Marshawn Powell went off for a career-high 33 points. Arkansas failed to cover as a 5-point favorite, and the final was the second straight "over." The Razorbacks beat the Wolverines 66-64 last January in Fayetteville as short home 'dogs.

Michigan Wolverines: Ranked third in both of the latest polls, the unbeaten Wolverines (8-0 SU, 6-1 ATS) are coming off a 73-41 win and cover vs. Western Michigan on Tuesday. Trey Burke scored 20 to lead the Maize & Blue who shot 50 percent from the field and rank third in the nation connecting on more than 52 percent of their field-goal attempts.


Colorado Buffaloes at Kansas Jayhawks

Colorado Buffaloes: The Buffs (7-1 SU, 5-2 ATS) rebounded from their lone loss of the season with a 70-61 home win vs. rival Colorado State on Wednesday. Spencer Dinwiddle scored 29 and Andre Roberson had a double-double in the victory. Colorado last faced Kansas in the 2010-11 season when both were Big 12 foes, and the Jayhawks have won the last 17 meetings dating back to January 2003.

Kansas Jayhawks: Winners of five straight, the Jayhawks (6-1 SU, 2-5 ATS) hit the floor for the first time in over a week. Kansas fended off Oregon State's bid for an upset in KC on Nov. 30, coming away with an 84-78 win as 12-point chalk. Ben McLemore scored 21 to lead a KU team that also got 20 from Travis Releford as the team sank 33-of-55 field-goal attempts (60 percent).

Illinois Fighting Illini: This battle of unbeatens will be the first real tests for the Illini (9-0 SU, 4-3 ATS) since beating Butler to win the Maui Invitational during the Thanksgiving break. Illinois was left completely off both preseason polls but has risen to 13th and 14th, respectively, in the AP and Coaches rankings. Brandon Paul leads the Illini with 17.8 points per game.

Gonzaga Bulldogs: The 'Zags (9-0 SU, 5-3 ATS) just survived an upset bid on the road at Washington State on Wednesday, winning 71-69 as 11½-point favorites. Kevin Pangos' layup in the closing seconds secured the victory, and Elias Harris led the way for the Bulldogs with 23 points while Kelly Olynyk added 22 off the bench. Gonzaga leads the nation in field goal percentage, making good on over 53 percent of attempts.
