Orlando Magic: It has been a rough start to the post-Dwight Howard era for the Magic (3-6 straight-up, 5-4 against the spread) who dropped their sixth in the last seven games on Sunday in Toronto, 97-86 as 4-point underdogs. Arron Afflalo leads six Orlando players in double digits on the scoring ledger with 16.3 points per game, while Glen Davis and Nikola Vucevic are at the top of the rebounding column with 8.7 boards per contest. In addition to not having the services of Al Harrington (knee) all season and Hedo Turkoglu (back) since the opener, the Magic could be without J.J. Redick on Monday due to an illness. The seventh-year guard out of Duke is officially questionable after missing Sunday's contest in Detroit (click for updated NBA injury report). Seven of the last eight meetings in this series have failed to reach the total, and the last five played in Atlanta each finished "under."

Atlanta Hawks: The Hawks (4-4 SU, 3-5 ATS) have had a couple of days off since finishing a four-game road trip last Friday in Sacramento that ended with a 112-96 victory as 2-point favorites. Kyle Korver led Atlanta with 22 points, including a perfect 5-for-5 from 3-point range, and Al Horford added a double-double (20 points, 10 rebounds). That scoreboard tally went well past the 188½-point total to end a string of five "unders' for the Hawks. Atlanta has struggled a bit at home so far, winning just one of three games at Philips Arena and failing to cover any of them. Veteran guard DeShawn Stevenson is questionable for Monday's tilt after missing two of the four road games with a back injury. The Hawks won all three games vs. Orlando last season and are 4-0 SU and ATS in the series heading into tonight's contest.
