UFC Betting: Sonnen tests Silva

Chael Sonnen is a big underdog in Saturday’s UFC title fight.
It's time for Anderson Silva to silence his critics. It's no longer enough that he is the UFC middleweight champion and the best pound-for-pound MMA fighter in the world. He needs to show he can impress the fans - or at least one fan in particular.
Dana White has stated that Silva must perform with class or he will be kicked out of UFC. White's order stems from Silva's defense against Demian Maia at UFC 112.
Chael Sonnen should prove the perfect test for Silva, as the American will try to take the fight to the Brazilian. Sonnen has run his mouth for weeks, talking smack about the champion and anything else in the world.
Silva will force the challenger to know his role Saturday and shut his mouth.
Sonnen is a great wrestler who has fought against some of the best in the business, but only a fool tries to anger Silva. The UFC Middleweight champion is going to bring the pain on Saturday night.
Showboating cost Silva a quick finish against Maia. I like Silva to be all about business on Saturday night. The Brazilian will pick his shots and torment Sonnen before finishing the fight inside of four rounds. Bet on Silva at -500 to win big with Sports Interaction.
Welterweights Jon Fitch and Thiago Alves have plenty of history. Fitch won a classic with Alves four years ago and I expect another fight for the ages in Oakland. Both of these fighters are looking for another crack at Georges St Pierre.
The UFC Welterweight champion beat Fitch at UFC 87, while Alves lost to the champion at UFC 100. Ring rust could cost the Brazilian on Saturday night. He's been out of the octagon for over a year, while Fitch has managed to keep busy and keep winning. I like this one to go to the judges with the American taking the spoils. Bet on Jon Fitch at -120 to win big with Sports Interaction.
Junior dos Santos and Roy Nelson know how much is at stake when they square off. White has declared that the winner of this fight will get a shot at the UFC Heavyweight title. Junior dos Santos is well worth the -385 price with Sports Interaction.
The young Brazilian owns wins over Mirko Cro Cop, Gilbert Yvel, and Gabriel Gonzaga but he's never squared off against a fighter like Roy Nelson. The over-sized American is a phenomenal athlete. Nelson's unique physical attributes should make this fight last at least two rounds but I don't see him making the final bell. I like Junior dos Santos to stop the fight in the third round.
Finally, we come to a true legend of the octagon. Matt Hughes offers great value as an underdog against Ricardo Almeida. Hughes continues to fight at an elite standard at the age of 37 and remains a match for almost any fighter in the world today. I like Hughes to score an upset and beat Ricardo Almeida +125 with Sports Interaction.
